The Village Picnic took place on the green on Sunday 5th May. The weather was kind to us and a good time was had by all.

General Information.
The ADAPT Saturday Market has reopened. It will be at the Buttermarket in Audlem every Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
Cheshire East are welcoming resident views on bus services in a new consultation. It would appear that Rural Nantwich bus services will face cuts under the new plans, including changes to the 72 and 73 which serve Hankelow.
Labour’s Dan Price has won the Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner election.
Kirk Shenton was joined by his grandsons to replace a dead beech tree on the village green with a sequoia and five rhododendrons.
There are a number of items on Nantwich News which may be of interest. There is a plan to stop accepting cash payments in most car parks in Nantwich, and Cheshire East is to close the School Meals service. There is also concern that some libraries may be closed, although Nantwich library doesn't seem to be under threat at the moment.

Wednesday 12th June - "Two talks evening" at 7:00 p.m.in the millenium gallery of Nantwich Museum.
Friday 14th and Saturday 15th June - Audlem Theatrical Company musical revue: A Night at the Movies.
Sunday 16th June - Hankelow Village Fete (Father's Day)
Recurring events.
The Warm Spaces Hub will be open every Friday between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m in Hankelow Chapel Community Hall throughout the year, even if the weather is hot!
ADCA Wednesday club is open from 11:00 a.m. in Hankelow Chapel Community Hall for coffee and light lunch. More information here.
On most Saturdays the Audlem Charity shop is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Check on AOL first, as the weather may affect the opening.

There is fortnightly Bingo in Audlem Town Hall on Friday evening at 7:30 (however this will not restart until February) . Check AOL to confirm the dates.
Oceanwave Fresh Fish is usually on the car park of the Lord Combermere in Audlem every Thursday from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
